Elmarsa Gallery Tunis takes great pleasure in announcing 'EN SUSPENS...' a solo exhibition featuring Mohamed Amine Inoubli.

"Amine Inoubli builds his pictorial universe as he paints. His starting point is a collection of visual “coups de cœur”, a sort of walk for the eye, that settles on trivial things in the immediate environment; things that go unnoticed by other people". Translation from French, Aicha Filali extracts from the exhibition catalogue.

About the Artist

Mohamed Amine Inoubli was born in 1980 in Tunis, Tunisia. Although trained in the sciences, his fascination for the arts has been ever present, having a fervent interest in both painting and drawing from a young age. Deepening his interests in painting, he sought to refine his technique and took on more formal training to do so. He worked in the commercial and agricultural sectors before devoting himself exclusively to painting and drawing in 2013. With an ability to use space to his advantage, Inoubli creates work that centres around what is often missed, overlooked. He has since participated in various exhibitions in different art spaces and galleries in Tunisia, quickly developing a complex and intricate practice.
